A ‘Swiss Cottage’ with a fabulous view across Gloucester Park is looking for a tenant.
There are plans to turn the ‘landmark’ cottage in the centre of Gloucester Park into a café and a planning application has already been submitted.
Now the Council is looking for a tenant to run the café on a three month trial basis.
The cottage is sited alongside the award-winning children’s play area and has previously been the base for the park wardens.
Councillor Sajid Patel, cabinet member for the environment, commented: “ This is a lovely location and is ideal for enjoying a sunny afternoon with a cup of tea and a snack. We plan to trial it to see how it works later this summer and then firm up plans for next year.”
