Refuse update

All refuse collections crews  in Gloucester are out – but operating with great care.

If it is too dangerous or difficult to collect all the bins in one street then none will be collected. This will ensure that crews know which roads have been covered when they return.

Garden waste crews are currently assisting with Waste and Recycling collections in order that normal collection services can be resumed as quickly as possible.

As a result, there will be a delay with some garden waste collections.  It would help the City Council to resume normal services if those residents that could wait until their next collection did so. Those that can’t wait should leave their garden waste bins out and they will be collected as soon as crews have caught up on the domestic rounds.
