31/1/08 Bus Services to the new Brockworth Tescos start

Stagecoach West are have  announced that they are extending citi Service 3 Gloucester, Coney Hill and Abbeydale from the current terminus in Abbeydale ,across the Lobley’s Drive bridge into the developing estate at Cooper’s Edge, continuing on via Hurricane Road to the Whittle Inn, Brockworth which is adjacent to Tesco’s.  

  Beginning on 4th February 2008, the extended service 3 will offer a 15 minute timetable Monday – Saturday daytimes and an hourly evening and Sunday service, all on low-floor buses.

 Buses will alternate in Abbeydale via Bittern Avenue which will retain Service number 3 and Hawthorn Avenue which will display Service 4.
