Events organisers in Gloucester now have a new way to advertise whats on in the city.
A rotunda has been installed in Kings Square, near to Debenhams, in which posters advertising city events can be displayed for free.
The rotunda is the brainchild of the citys Evening and Night-Time Economy Group and has been backed by Gloucesters Licensed Victuallers Association.
Councillor Paul James, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Culture, chairs the Evening and Night-Time Economy Group.
He said, There are lots of events going on in Gloucester and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to find out about them. This is part of our efforts to promote a balanced evening economy in the city.
Anyone wishing to advertise an event should telephone 01452 396727 or email njones@gloucester.gov.uk.
